Jesus and the End of the World, Part 2

Scott Risley
Luke 21:25-27

Jesus uses predictive prophecy regarding end times to illustrate the character of God and His message to humanity. Research validates the signs Jesus predicted including signs from the first coming, the second coming, and for the end of the world. Religious, political, and environmental signs are discussed. There are also preconditions that have been validated which we are seeing happen today.

Recognizing the Time of His Coming

Conrad Hilario
Daniel 9:24-25

Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey's colt, just as was prophesied in the Old Testament. Though people recognized Him as the Messiah at that point, it was only days later that they advocated for His crucifixion. We see through Daniel 9, one of many fulfilled prophesies, that God has given us objective evidence for belief in His son. Don't fail to recognize Him as the Messiah like this audience did when they crucified Him. We should investigate the claims of Christianity and make a decision.

Jesus and the End of the World, Part 1

Scott Risley
Ezekiel 37:10-25

In his final week, Jesus predicts Jerusalem will be uprooted, scattered and later regathered. He warns his disciples against false claims, tells them what to look for and explains how they will go through great persecution. Historians Josephus and Tacitus confirm this biblical account as well as Old Testament Scripture. Against all odds, these predictions have come true which gives great evidence this can only be from the one true God.

The Time of Your Visitation

Dennis McCallum
Daniel 9:24-25

Jesus makes His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. The crowd is overjoyed, but Jesus weeps over the city because they don't recognize that He's fulfilling prophecy in their midst. Though it's written 500 years earlier, Daniel 9 predicts the exact year that the Messiah would enter Jerusalem. Today we are able to verify Jesus' claims through evaluating predictive prophecy. Debbie Rudy shares her experience with weighing the evidence for Jesus.

Jesus Before His Public Ministry

Gary DeLashmutt
John 3:16

Summarizes Jesus' birth and childhood. Draws a parallel between Mary's free will in deciding whether to let God put his Son in her - and our free will in deciding whether to let God supernaturally conceive his Son's life in our hearts.

The Return of the King

Scott Risley
Luke 19:11-44

In the final week of His life, Jesus approached Jerusalem and gave a parable challenging listeners to live focused on eternity. The Way of Biblical History

Jim Leffel
Psalms 110:4

During one of Abraham's travels he meets the priest and king Melchizedek. God reveals Himself through Melchizedek by showing throughout the history of Scripture a prophetic image of the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus, like Melchizedek, was both priest and king. He came to earth to be the final mediator between God and a fallen humanity. Jesus is also king and ruler over all.

The Resurrection

Jim Leffel
Luke 24:1-12

Is it reasonable to believe in the resurrection of Christ? The account of the empty tomb is presented and the historicity of the event is examined. Prophecy and historical evidence from the Old Testament book of Psalms and the letters of Paul are explained in connection to the resurrection.
