Proverbs are a form of instruction that ultimately desire to lead one to trust or believe in the Lord and not one's own self.

When we are lost, we need to have the humility to ask for help.  The key is not just knowing God's will, but following His will.

Proverbs 31 details the description of a strong and capable wife, but the lesson is not limited to wives or even just women.  This chapter challenges both women and men to be strong and capable and to trust God to help one become such a person.
