The Xenos Summer Institute (XSI) starts next Wednesday with both large scale teachings and smaller breakout sessions looking at the topic “First=Last,” bringing practical application to Jesus’ call to be the “least.” XSI runs July 13-15.
Here are some important details about this year’s event:
- If you haven't already, register now to avoid the walk-in registration line. The deadline for advance discounted registration is July 11th at noon. Once you register, you’ll get an email with information on signing up for breakout sessions.
- Friday, July 8th is the deadline for advance registration for breakout sessions. While you are free to attend any session that has the space, registering for your breakout session today will ensure you have a seat at the sessions you want.
- Thursday evening's plenary sessions are free to attend for those investigating Christianity. Consider inviting a guest!
- With so many attending, there will be a simulcast at Dwell’s Warehouse location, as well as Building X and the Main Campus Cafe. There will be NO simulcast at 4th Street this year. To ease congestion on Main Campus, members of each sphere are asked to take a turn attending at the Warehouse on assigned nights:
Wednesday, July 13th: Risley & Woods sphere
Thursday, July 14th: Sullivan & Hearty spheres
Friday, July 15th: Conrad (college) & Kate (adult) sphere
- There will be food trucks available at Main Campus on Thursday at lunch and dinner and Friday at lunch.
